Statistics

Statistical Modelling

Statistical modelling services provided will be:
  • Carrying out exploratory and testing activities to investigate potential relationships between data variables
  • Developing linear, non-linear and multiple regression models
  • Making statistical inferences about the developed models
Statistical Quality Control
Statistical quality control services will be:
  • Descriptive Statistics – used to describe quality characteristics and relationships. Included are statistics such as the mean, standard deviation, the range and a measure of the distribution of data
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) – a statistical tool that involves inspecting a random sample of the output from a process and deciding whether the process is producing products with the characteristics that fall within a predetermined range. SPC answers the question of whether the process is functioning properly or not.
  • Acceptance Sampling – the process of randomly inspecting a sample of goods and deciding whether to accept the entire lot based on the results. Acceptance sampling determines whether a batch of goods should be accepted or rejected.
Surveys
Survey services provided will be mainly market surveys and political polls. These will be carried out through:
  • Study planning – establishing the goals of the project
  • Sample Study – determining the sample for the study
  • Interviewing methodology – choosing the effective and efficient interview technique
  • Questionnaire design – determining what questions will be asked
  • Pretesting the questionnaires – testing the questions with a small sample to give preliminary observations
  • Questionnaire administration – conducting the interview
  • Data collection and analysis – Collecting questionnaires and studying responses to questions
  • Report production – presentation of the results and outcome of the study
Total Quality Management
Total quality management services provided will be:
  • Using the seven tools of quality control to help clients deal with quality problems.
  • Cause-and-effect diagram – a chart that identifies potential causes of particular quality problems
  • Flowchart – a schematic diagram of the sequence of steps involved in an operation or process
  • Checklist – a list of common defects and the number of observed occurrence of these defects
  • Control Charts – charts used to evaluate whether a process is operating within set expectations
  • Scatter diagrams – graphs that show how two variables are related to each other
  • Pareto Analysis – A technique used to identify quality problems based on their degree of importance using Pareto charts ( a chart that ranks the cause of poor quality in decreasing order bases on the percentage of defects each has caused)

Production Services
Production services provided will be:
  • One initial consultation and discussion of detailed project specifications
  • Prompt estimate of the time to complete the project
  • Discussion and approval of the quote price
  • After approval of quote price there will be one meeting for contract signing
  • All correspondence throughout the project such as telephone calls, emails or faxes
  • One proof meeting with mock-up if possible
  • One final approval meeting
  • All work will be produced in-house copied to a CD-ROM and stored. All original work cannot be copied or reproduced without  permission.
  • Production and presentation of reports to clients
